Spotting from 11w 3d

Hi All

I just want a bit of advice really. I noticed some very faint brown on wiping on NYE. Kept an eye on it and went to see doctor a few days after as it had gotten progressively darker. She wasn’t concerned and took a swab to check for infection. She said it wasn’t bleeding, note of a brown discharge.

This morning at 12w1d, it has gotten considerably darker, more like the end of a period. Still brown though. Do I call doctor this morning and request a referral to EPU or book a private scan? My 12 week scan isn’t until 13w 5d so still a bit of a wait.

I will deal with whatever the outcome may be although I am petrified of the pain and bleeding of a miscarriage so quite afraid at the moment. I just want to know what’s going on.

Sorry you're having a rough time. Was your doctor an obgyn? Or GP? If it is worse than when you saw the doc I think you're wise to go and see them again and share your concerns with them. If you get no joy then I would go the EPU route personally.

Thank you for your reply. I saw GP. I will call again this morning and see what they say. I have photos and there is a definite progression. Fingers crossed I get somewhere...
