Hire or buy tens machine?

Where's best and cheapest to hire a tens machine from? Or is it just worth buying one?

I bought a second hand one on eBay which was cheaper than hiring. You can buy new pads on Amazon for £5 so you don’t have to use the same ones. I’m planning on selling mine once I have used it.

Boots have a separate website for hiring them too.

I bought a boots maternity one second hand on eBay for £10, and then bought new pads from boots for about £6.99.
I will pass on the machine to a friend after I have used it.

When I priced it up it cost about the same to hire as it did to buy new, so I just bought one and passed it on to a friend.

You will have enough on your plate after the birth with recovery and looking after a newborn. I am of the view that you do not need the hassle of returning hired items on top of that!

We bought one. This is our first successful pregnancy. We're hoping (but not counting on it after ivf for this one) for a second at some point in the future. My husband has also been using it for his bad back. So hopefully it's far more worthwhile buying one for us.
