I had a US yesterday and the sonographer focused on a spot at the bottom of the sac that appeared to look like white floating specs, that settled at the bottom of the sac when baby stopped moving around.
She left the room and brought in another sonographer who wasn't concerned by this.
Has anyone had this? I've heard it's common in the third trimester and could be vernix but not at this stage! Also read it's linked to preterm labour.
