I got bits of mucous plug for weeks - TMI but have you had sex recently? That always brought a bit on.

Sounds like some of your plug. Don't be too disheartened if it doesn't happen immediately, from what I've gathered you can lose bits here and there. Might be worth trying some of the things that are supposed to help though, like spicy food etc !

I had this from about 36 weeks with my first. He stayed put until his due date but I was 3cm before the contractions started so I think I may have been in slow labour for a while.

I'm getting some tightening in my stomach every now and then. Really hope it's labour starting. I've got an induction booked in 2 weeks which I'm hoping to avoid!

Unfortunately not, I'm getting a few more sharp pains and period type cramps but they come and go so quickly so I'm not getting my hopes up!
