Implantation bleed or miscarriage

Hi, hoping for some advice. Yesterday i had a positive pregnancy test, a shock but a happy one. I had bled during the week and presumed it was a period, but my breasts were tender so I took the test anyway, when it was positive I thought the bleed was an implantation bleed.

From what I've read about implantation bleeds, they're only supposed to last 3 days max? Mind definitely was more like 5 days, now I'm worried I've had an early miscarriage.

What should I do? Test again in a while?

Bleeding in early pregnancy is really common and can be for lots of different reasons (implantation, subchorionic haematoma, unknown source, miscarriage etc). Keep an eye on it and if you're concerned, consider visiting the EPU. If you're around 6 weeks or so they may scan you, but may not if its too early. I've been pregnant twice: the first ending in miscarriage at 7 weeks, and the second still going strong now at almost 30 weeks. In both pregnancies, I had various bleeds before about 14 weeks. Its not always bad news.

Unless it's heavy red bleeding with cramping, it may be nothing to worry about. Sadly it's a bit of a waiting game.

Thanks @Spooples , it wasn't bright red, it was brown, hopefully that's a good sign. Congratulations on your pregnancy, hope you are well!! I had a MMC at 8 weeks before, so it's on my mind. I think I'm only 4/5 weeks.

As you're still so early and it's not red, try to put it out of your mind as much as you can. I know its easier said than done.

I bled a little and passed a tiny clot at about 6-8weeks with dd (now 2),
With this pregnancy I woke up to a ton of fresh red blood at about 10weeks, and then carried on with on and off red and sometimes brown for 4-5 days until I passed a clot about the size of a 20p
Im now coming up to 32 weeks and had no explanation for the bleed

With my two miscarriages i bled fresh and bright red non stop throughout the days, one was painless the other I had huge cramps for one day and then regular period type cramps for the next 4 days.
