Miscarriage / chemical pregnancy / period advice

Hi everyone,

I got a faint positive test on Friday. I am now 15dpo. Started light brown spotting last week but today it's red. I'm passing clots. Got strong pain / cramps in my back and abdomen.

Fairly certain I'm not going to be pregnant anymore but is there something I'm meant to do? See the GP on Monday? Don't think they'd be able to tell much as I'd only have been 4 weeks.

Test again in a couple of days (as long as you can hold out) to see which way it's going. Sorry you're going through this - it's hard and it doesn't help that's it's common and 30% (could be much higher) will go this way...

You can go to the gp if you want to. I did the second time. He was useless ('have some more miscarriages and we will do some testing' - arsehole).

Head to a and e if you go through more than a pad an hour.

Most of all, take it easy, try to keep busy and be kind to yourself.

@physicskate I've just rung 111 because my pad has been bled through in 1.5 hours. I've taken cocodamol to help with the pain. I have heavy periods but nothing like this. Feel sick and no appetite. I've been asleep most of today.

Totally soul destroying!
