Food aversions gone at 11 weeks

Have been off chocolate for over a month, literally had no interest and made me feel sick and when eating it didn't enjoy it at all. I'm 11 weeks now and can't stop eating chocolate. Does this count as symptoms fading? 5 days until 12 week scan and petrified of missed miscarriage...

I wouldn’t worry too much if food aversions are the only thing changing - my food preferences and aversions have been all over the place my whole pregnancy (largely due to HG) but even now one day I will only want spicy food and the next day only sweet! Craving chocolate could be your body’s way of trying to get some extra energy from the sugar if you’re feeling a little tired, or could just be your hormones straightening out a little as you come up to the second trimester. I don’t think the cravings alone can be indicative of a MMC (when I had one I was still being sick even after MMC was detected, there really were no signs)
Good luck for your scan and enjoy your chocolate!

Chocolate was one of the earlier foods of mine to come back. Between 6 and 8 weeks, I couldn’t really handle sugar, but at 8 weeks I sometimes needed chocolate, and by 10 weeks it had become a reliable emergency food a lot of the time. I couldn’t eat much at first, but now I’m back up to being able to eat about 1/4 of what I can normally put away, which is probably a sensible amount for a human to consume!

Most of my first trimester symptoms disappeared around 11 weeks. I stopped vomiting at that point.
I'm now 31 weeks so it was definitely ok for me (although I'll be honest, I worried too!)x

I hated all food minus citrus fruit almost all my pregnancy. I honestly don't know how I produced a 9lber!

My food aversions went at 11 weeks don’t worry ... I panicked too because of previous Mmcs. I’m 19 weeks now , I read the placenta starts taking over so you start to feel better x

After my missed MC I had three pregnancies and each time had periods where I was convinced it was dead. In my case, all was fine.

I think your mind plays tricks on you and lack of symptoms aren't really a sign. I had signs (sickness ) for one day only with last child but loads on the two before .

Mine was around 11 - 12 weeks too. Woke up one day and was like wow I don’t have nausea 😍 It was great. Enjoy!

I had a chocolate aversion then at 11 weeks 4 days took a trip to Cadbury world and my chocolate aversion had gone :)
