Pregnant but have period symptoms?!

Bit of a weird question but Im due on today and have the usual symptoms I would have, however I'm 4 weeks pregnant today! I know this because I've taken 5 tests and seen the doctor! I've not had any bleeding or sinister symptoms, I didn't even have implantation bleeding. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced their usual period symptoms on the day they were due on but are already pregnant?

Congratulations!!

Early pregnancy can mimic PMS. I have tender boobs right now, and mood swings and bloated. I'm six weeks pregnant. Congratulations, I wish you a happy 40 weeks

Yeah, I had bloating and the exact same pains I would get right before my period. I am now 35 weeks Smile

Yes I had a lot of cramping, 4 weeks was around when my boobs got sore and cramping started. I’m 11 weeks now and cramping has stopped but boobs are still killing me! Congratulations! Flowers

Menstrual type cramps are very normal in early pregnancy. Mine were very strong (I am 8 weeks tomorrow), and they’ve only recently died down. Congratulations.

Congratulations on your pregnancy :)
As others have said it’s quite normal.
My advice is get used to the cramping it lasted my entire first trimester and I’m now overdue and have had constant cramp type period pains for 3 weeks now 🙈 pregnancy is wonderful and magical but it isn’t glamorous so prepare yourself for some weird sensations (I wish someone had warned me of some of the less glam symptoms) xx

Thanks ladies! This is my second so I thought I would have remembered the symptoms, but 2 years ago seems like such a long time ago! 😂
