What does this mean

Me and my partner have been trying to conceive for the last 6 months. My last period was on the 3rd December. A week before I come on, I usually grow a massive spot on my face and get sore/tender breasts. I Am now 2 days late and the spot hasn't appeared, neither have my sore boobs. I've taken a test and it's appeared negative? Could I be pregnant? Why havent my pre period sore boobs come?

You could be pregnant, or you could have ovulated later than you think, or not at all, which would explain your lack of people Mt symptoms. wait a few days and take another test.

What @mortifiedmama said. I tested negative up to 12 days so stopped testing, got sore boobs and some spotting so thought period was on the way, then at 19 days late I tested again just in case and it was positive. Fast forward to early scan when I thought I was 9+6, I was actually only 7+3, so I’d ovulated later and when I thought period was 12 days late it actually wasn’t even due yet. I was pregnant though!

Test again in a couple of days, first thing in the morning. First Response Early Response are meant to be the most sensitive.
