Dating scan screening tests - how long for results?

If you have screening tests at your 12 week (dating) scan, do you get the results on the day or do you have to wait for them? This is our second baby but we didn’t have screening tests first time round so I can’t even refer to my own experience!

You have to weight as they used measurements from the scan and results of the blood test. The Down’s syndrome test only tells you the 1 in how many risk. I’m not sure about the others.

It depends on your trust. Mines just said low risk, not 1 in however many.

If you're high risk you receive a call. Low risk is a letter. They said up to 2 weeks and I had a letter in about 10 days. It's a long wait but try not to worry

The MW told me the measurement on the neck looked fine but if they had concerns they'd contact within 7 days. No concerns I'd get a letter in 2 weeks.

They told me at scan measurements were all good/normal and I got the letter with results stating downs syndrome 1-10000 and Edwards/pataus 1-100000 were considered low risk and so no further testing required, in just 4 days through the post. X
