Breech baby at 36 weeks

I'm hoping for some success stories of babies naturally turning after 36 weeks? I've been doing all of the exercises advised by the midwife, spinning babies etc but they are still staying in place!

Mine was mainly breech, he did the odd few days head down and also liked to go transverse (ouch) quite a lot.
We had all the discussions re ECV / csection etc but in the end he turned himself just around 36 weeks; I went for a growth scan fully expecting to see him head up but no there he was in place!
It can happen naturally, I don’t know if anything I did helped but I tried to walk and Stay active and upright, bounced a lot, got on all 4s and swayed around a bit whilst watching tv and also did this in the bath (I reckon I looked like shamu by this point)

Good luck!

I'm in the same situation, 36 weeks and baby breech, however I'm not unhappy about it, I want a c section anyway so avoiding anything which puts me on all 4s Grin

My second was breech but turned. It was an extremely intense sensation, I thought I was about to poo myself...! I didn't do anything to make it happen, and he wriggled around in labour and got so stuck it was hard to get him out even by c section Confused

No success story, i'm only 25 weeks pregnant. But have you heard of Moxa? Its like an incense stick you burn by your toe, it was recommended at a homebirth group i go to. I have since seen it mentioned in a book (How to grow a baby and push it out) and a quick google suggests it has a 60% success rate at turning breech babies.

I’m 38 weeks. I had an ECV at 37 weeks and baby has stayed in the correct position. It was fine, really. Bit sore- but not as bad as giving birth!
