Omg baby brain, sister in-law gets engaged and I congratulate the wrong one!

Oh dear, I have 2 sister in laws, and I was suspicious that one got engaged over Xmas. We have a shared family WhatsApp group and there was a post with an engagement ring. Loads of comments. So I messaged the suspected sister, even double checked the images owner before sending and I still managed to congratulate the wrong one. We just found out I am pregnant, seems baby brain is a thing, was beyond a blonde moment.

I feel bad now, sister I congratulated was dropping hints all over Xmas and i got the feeling she really wanted her partner to pop the question. So I waltzed in and added a bit of salt to a potential sore situation.
She took it well, and laughed and thank goodness I did it via private message and not on the group,

What baby brain mistakes have happened to you? Xmas Blush

I thought baby brain was after the baby was born and you get no sleep. That's when I had it.

My best baby brain moment happened during my pregnancy with DD who was born in June last year.

I'm a student with the Open University and as its an online uni students from all over the country sign up to whatsapp support groups to chat and support each other through the module.

Anyway, every so often we have the opportunity to attend tutorial classes at a brick university.

I arrived 20 minutes early, class was due to start at 10am, and posted the room number on the chat group as a few others were going too.

One girl told me she thought it was starting at 2pm. So I checked my email and it definitely said 10am.

She asked me to check again, and i did. It was definitely 10am! She was devastated, she really wanted to go and was really upset cause she got her times mixed up.

I felt really bad for her, she posted loads of crying emoji's and said she needed the face to face time with the tutor and she didn't know what to do now.

Now, I'm not the most reliable person, so after her heart breaking response I checked the email again. It did definitely did say 10am..... then I noticed the date and realised I was looking at the previous months tutorial 😂😂😂😂

I informed her straight away to let her know she was right and I was away home... all done over a public chat group 😂😂😂

I couldn't help bursting out with laughter as I entered the class at 2.30pm (half an hour late... bloody traffic) and the girl from the chat realised who I was and burst out laughing too.

There have been many others. I'm expecting again in July and baby brain is just relentless 😁

I would totally tell you about the stupid things I’ve thought since getting pregnant, but although I remember that I’ve done them, I can’t remember what they are! I suppose it’s a mercy!
