I'm pregnant with my first and I'm 19wks today. I can't feel any movement but my bump is solid. Should I be feeling anything yet??

I didn't feel anything until 22/23 weeks. It was torturous and I remember being really nervous for my 20 week scan because I convinced myself something was up but all was good. They don't worry until 24 weeks as that's when they expect movement to start establishing. Also remember you may have an awkwardly positioned placenta which would further cushion and kicks. Relax and in a few weeks you'll feel bump but if you're concerned give your MW a call and she should be able to reassure you x

Don’t worry OP! 19 weeks is overly late for a first pregnancy. The advice is anything until 24 weeks is considered “normal.”
This is my third pregnancy and my feeling movements has been different with each. First was around 18 weeks and only flutters (posterior placenta) second was around 15 weeks as I knew what was feeling was not gas hahaha (again posterior placenta) third pregnancy, currently 24+1 and feeling pretty much bugger all, the odd thud downlow in my pelvis but nothing to write home about (anterior placenta)
You will feel something in the next few weeks, I’m sure! You should have your scan soon which will confirm the location of your placenta which will undoubtedly set your mind at ease.
I know it can be worrying... I must admit I worry about the low level of my current movements but I know there is a reason so I’m trying to keep positive.
If you are really anxious call your midwife for a chat, she may Doppler you for reassurance x

Thanks guys! We've just been trying for so long I think I'm worrying myself that something must be wrong Confused but I'm definitely growing everyone else tells me, and I'm still having sore boobs and bad back so that must all be good signs!
