We are due baby number 3 in February. We already have Eva & Thomas (nn Tommy)

Which do you prefer and think “goes better” with our children’s name;
Emilia Grace
Matilda Grace

Definitely using Grace for the middle name as this was my late grandmothers name but also my nieces name so can’t use for the first name or it would’ve been first choice.

Thanks

Matilda Grace. (Although if it was Amelia Grace I’d choose that)

I also like the Matilda option, it’s more unusual and goes well with the other names. I’ve known a couple of Matilda’s who went by the nickname Tilly when they were older which is also quite nice.

I like Emilia best with your other children's names. I actually prefer Matilda, but if it's going to be shortened to Tilly it might sound a bit twee with Tommy.

Both beautiful names that pair really well with Grace and your other children, but I like Matilda a little bit better.

You could end up with Tommy and Tilly.
It's a no from me.

Shanmoo · 03/01/2019 14:30

Emilia is beautiful.

GabbyGal · 03/01/2019 14:34

I think Tommy and Tilly sounds cute!

My vote is Matilda, but only by a small margin, Emilia is lovely too.

Thanks everyone. Difficult as we love them both! I think it may be a case of decide when baby arrives.

Matilda is beautiful x

AdelaideK · 03/01/2019 14:51

Matilda as I don't like Emilie.

DreamsofJacaranda · 03/01/2019 15:00

Emilia is lovely, and can be shortened to Milly.

Disfordarkchocolate · 03/01/2019 15:34

Matilda, if you don't want Tilly and Tommy then shorten Matilda to Tilda. Both lovely though.

cptartapp · 03/01/2019 15:47

Emilia, not shortened to Milly.
