how many baby clothes to take in with me?/!!

hi am going in for cs next week and i'm having a mare! how much baby stuff to take in with me!

depending on how long you will be in for I would recommend 2 babygros a day, Scratch mittens and a couple of little hats.

the hospital will put a little gown on your baby initially. You probably won't need anything till the next day

My hospital didn't provide gowns.

I'd say 3 vests, 3 babygros, 2 mittens and 1 hat per day. We ran out one night because ds pooed on one and was sick on another. Nurse was annoyed with me for being so careless!!

LOL reminds me of the night dd was born and i was told off by midwife as baby grow was miles too big. It was newborn but dd weight in at 5lb. Like i could have known duh.

If your in after CS proberly in 3-5 days, so maybe pack enough for 3 days and leave another packed bag for dh to bring in midweek.

Don't forget mittens. I did and told my dh to bring some but if he couldn't bring them to just bring some socks.

My dh couldn't find mittens so he brought.....booties. DS looked ridiculous because he basically had little shoes on his hands! Stopped him scratching his face to shreds though!
