Hi Ladies,

I really want to do pregnancy yoga and wondered if any of you could recommend any online classes?

I suffered back and hip problems after the birth of my first child... never got to the bottom of why and it's slowly eased over the years.

19 weeks pregnant and can now feel things getting sore again. Dull achy pain in hips and sore back.

Want to see if Yoga will help me but can't find any classes that I can get to. Lots online but ideally want to try something someone has had success with.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi, yoga with Adrienne is very popular she has this pregnancy one m.youtube.com/watch?v=0cKnStmV1dI

I would say try and go to classes as they have good props, the teacher will check your alignment is correct and it’s also great to meet other pregnant mums. Plus it’s so hard to create the same ambiance at home.

(My mum is a yoga teacher and before my SPD went mad I practiced every day)

Hope you find something you like!

Thank you I'll take a look. I can't get to classes unfortunately due to their location and time of day. It would have been my preference to go to a class but sadly don't have that option.

I’ve also been using YouTube videos for prenatal yoga and have found they helped a lot. Had to stop the cardio as my breathing sucks right now!

Here are some which I’ve added to my workout playlist which I’ve found effective and maybe they will help you too!

Good luck!

I had the Tara Lee dvd. She gives adjustments for SPD as well.

Tara lee is also on amazon prime, as I recently found out thanks to an angel on MN flagging it up! Otherwise if you want to buy something I really like Nadia Narain - her pregnancy classes in London are amazing and the DVD (also on iTunes) was useful too for when I couldn't get to class.
