23 weeks. Lying awake in bed feeling my baby boy kick. Feels more real now that it's happening this year!

Aww how exciting!
When's he due?

sirmione16 · 01/01/2019 00:51

How exciting! I'm 37 weeks pregnant so for ages just had the mindset of "just need to get Christmas and new year out the way and he'll basically be here" AND ITS BASICALLY HERE NOW. I'm more excited now than I was for Christmas, and I love Christmas.

Congratulation sirmione16! So close!

Due end of April, TanteRose, so a while yet, but his kicks are really strong already ♥️

Congratulations OP Smile

Me too! Managed to go to two parties and still be home before midnight. Got to midnight and just bawled as it’s all a bit overwhelming and I’m so happy. Also getting a good booting from our baby and it’s the best feeling in the world.

TanteRose · 01/01/2019 00:56

Lovely!
My DS will be 20 in April 😊

2dogsandPG · 01/01/2019 00:56

Definitely the best feeling, Anne!

I'm expecting twinsand had the same thought last night. I don't have any children already so these two are my first babies. I was totally overwhelmed last night and cried at midnight as a mixture of emotions hit me - excitement and fear especially. I'm 19 weeks so my babies are due in May and I haven't felt a distinguishable kick yet but I expect I will in the net week or two.

Happy New Year and good luck all your mummies-to-be! This year is going to be both chaos and fun for all of us!

Youseethethingis · 01/01/2019 13:01

I’m with you! We went for an early scan yesterday and saw our 10 week wee bean waving its arms and wriggling around for the very first time. At midnight I was hanging over a basin on the living room floor feeling absolutely awful but at the same time so excited because this is the year I will become a Mummy!

The best and worst of times really. DP couldn’t even hug me because I could smell his dinner on his skin Confused

ChaosMoon · 01/01/2019 17:29

Aw, congratulations everybody! Me too! Baby is due on the first of April. I think this is the most excited I've ever been about it being a New Year. 😁

MrsRyan15 · 01/01/2019 17:42

Congratulations everyone, I am so excited that this is the year that I finally become a mum.

I'm 37 and had been TTC for 18 months without even a hint of a BFP, so was beginning to think it would never happen. Currently 9 + 3 weeks and still a little anxious waiting for my 12 week scan but over the moon we've got this far!

CrystalBlaze · 01/01/2019 18:57

We could be due date buddies, OP Smile

My first baby is due April 28. Can't wait!

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 01/01/2019 19:08

Congratulations!

This summer will mark 10 years since I found out I was pregnant with my April baby (who actually came in the March). I've had 4 more since!

Enjoy every moment Flowers

I thought this would be me, due 8th January and my lovely boy arrived 15th December! Feel lucky to have him here safe and sound. Not much relevant to the thread but just a little note to be prepared in case of an early arrival, I had the text book pregnancy, no signs of him being premature at all! Enjoy your few weeks before the sleepless nights begin ladies Grin (its not as bad as some people on here like to make out...)

Triskaidekaphilia · 01/01/2019 23:28

Me too! Not until July but I'm so excited! I hoped for it in 2017 and 2018 and in 2019 it's finally happening!

2dogsandPG · 02/01/2019 09:59

Congratulations, lovely ladies! I'm sure time will fly by 👶♥️

Congratulations everyone! I'm due my 2nd in May and can't wait to have my wee family complete!!!

Springmummy19 · 03/01/2019 13:45

2dogsandPG I really hope it does, April seems so close yet so far at the same time.

sirmione16 · 04/01/2019 12:56

@Nolagerformethanks people kept going to me "ooh Christmas baby is it?!" As bump is fairly significant. Due 24th jan so my response would always be "bloody hope not!" Grin but as you've shown - it happens!

tinyradish · 04/01/2019 13:10

Congratulations! Me too :) Also 23 weeks & as the clock stuck midnight on new year's I said to little one 'this is the year you're going to be born' so soppy but it was a special moment for me haha Grin
