17+6 weeks today. Have been having annoying cramps most of the day, not painful, just uncomfortable (really quite pig sick of them and the worrying I’m having as a result) and this last hour I’ve felt a heavy pressure right in my lower abdomen just above my bikini line - almost like someone has put some weights in there. I’m hoping it’s normal, I only had this at full term with DD which is worrying me! Obviously with it being NYE and the fact that we live quite rurally, I’m limited as to who I can contact.

My nerves are shot!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I’m having this too!! I’m 20+2 and it’s been happening off & on for a couple of weeks- I never experienced it with my DS so I was a bit worried at first. I’ve the midwife next week so I’m going to mention it then. I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about OP x

Ahh that makes me feel better. Sorry your experiencing the same!! Not that it’s painful just ever so slightly annoying!
I’m just worrying about things for worryings sake now. I seriously need to chill.

Thank you for replying, you’ve made me feel better already. Happy new year to you x

I have had something similar this past 24 hours - feels like I'm a carrying a bowling ball around in there and is very uncomfortable. I'm only 15 +1 but am carrying twins, and noticed my bump looked significantly bigger today so I'm putting it down to growing/stretching pains.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 31/12/2018 22:08

@CritterTamer ahhh twins, you’ll definitely be ‘feeling the force’

Pleased it’s normal!

My biggest worry is if it's this uncomfortable now, what will it be like in another 10-20 weeks?!!

My gut instinct is that it's nothing to worry about but my 16 week mid ife aapointment is on Wednesday so I will mention it then.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. xxx

Pregnant with my second and have had this too! It did get better but now I am 33 weeks and so uncomfortable again. I had terrible round ligament pain this time too.

Tinyteatime · 31/12/2018 22:20

Had this too around the middle of 2nd pregnancy. All went normally. It’s very uncomfortable And feels like the baby fall out!

FusionChefGeoff · 31/12/2018 22:22

There is a point where your body all sort of moves about to accommodate growing baby - I remember the pictures in my pregnancy book and all of a sudden your organs, bladder etc relocate and womb settles in. Maybe it's that?

Iswallowtoothpaste · 31/12/2018 22:58

Ahhh thank you all. You’ve really helped to settle my nerves. I’ve had some lucozade and baby seems to have shifted him/herself up a wee bit now!

20 week scan 2 weeks tonorrow, it can’t come quickly enough!

I get similar sometimes, it feels like my uterus is about to drop out of me, had it earlier and its uncomfortable and I assume normal. then it goes away again, I guess theyre just moving about in there!

I'm 16+1 with twins @Crittertamer :)
