I’m 20 weeks pregnant and my hormones are all over the place!! I’m just watching Britain’s Wildest Weather 2018 and a bunch of army guys pushing a lorry out of a snow drift just made me burst into tears!
And yesterday I was watching Swashbuckle on CBeebies with my DS and all the kids having a great time all dressed up made me cry!! Anyone else?!

Oh god I've been terrible, so far the dogs trust advert with the balloon that gets stuck in a tree, a children's choir at my local shopping centre, the walking train to my local school (they're so cute in their little fluorescent jackets holding hands!) and just this morning an ambulance, it had it's lights and sirens on and pulling over and seeing all the cars around me do the same to make it a little corridor to get through had me sobbing in the car!

Justincase87 · 31/12/2018 12:43

I cried hysterically after watching Dirty Dancing with my DH because 'I'll never fall in love for the first time again' Blush

AlwaysWantedToBeATenenbaum · 31/12/2018 13:29

😂 I’m glad it’s not only me!! Has anyone seen the new Disneyland advert yet with the wee duck? Oh god I was in FLOODS!!!!

@AlwaysWantedToBeATenenbaum that one got me when I saw it.

To be fair though, even DH had a bit of a moment over it!

MrsRRC · 31/12/2018 14:09

Just before I found out I was pregnant. I burst into tears half way through a ham sandwich. I couldn’t tell you why!?

Heyha · 31/12/2018 14:45

I woke myself up crying last night! Can't remember what I was dreaming about, though all my dreams have been spectacular lately. Bloody hormones!

TakingtheLeap · 31/12/2018 15:12

I started THINKING about the wee lad who has to sing the first verse of 'Once in Royal David's City' at the King's College carol service. About how they are so tiny and singing all alone. I blubbed.

UndercoverLauren · 31/12/2018 15:56

The Queen's Christmas Speech. I think it was when she mentioned her grandchildren.

shivbo2014 · 31/12/2018 15:58

I cried at the Barbie mermaid film yesterday and Pinnocchio.

Hermones1 · 31/12/2018 16:09

I cried at a turkey and pickled onion sandwich lol

Kay1341 · 31/12/2018 17:28

Orgasm. DH had quite a shock, although we've laughed about it afterwards! And this has happened more than once, it makes sex quite awkward.

Yesterday I cried watching Downton Abbey.

Staci13 · 31/12/2018 18:00

I cried because I couldn’t decide if I want bbq or curry sauce from the Chinese!

Spooples · 31/12/2018 19:17

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-46723408 omg this. I am crying at this right now. Bloody hormones.

comradelouise · 31/12/2018 19:23

I've cried several times at Strictly - not even at emotional moments, normally it's just a salsa or a samba but it's something about how happy they look

user1471453601 · 31/12/2018 19:27

Do you remember The Price Is Right? Watching it with my sister and I burst into tears. Sis to me, why the fuck are you crying? Me to sister, it's their faces when their names are called. Sister to me, get a bloody grip.

She wasn't wrong

ikltownofboothlehem · 31/12/2018 19:32

When I was pregnant with DS I used to get toast & jam for breakfast from the cafe near work. I only like my toast vaguely waved at the grill very lightly done and told the server this every morning.

One day there was a new lady on and when my toast came out she said 'oooh that's not done it needs going back in'. I told her no, that's how I like it, I don't want it doing any more but she ignored me. Twice. Toast came out nearly black.

I burst into tears stammering 'I'm sorry I can't eat it like that' while she was Hmm asking me why and it was done 'properly'. I was properly snot sobbing. Blush

The manager came over and apologised, redid my toast for free and gave me a free drink. All over flipping toast!

Sexnotgender · 31/12/2018 19:36

Cried proper sobs because DH bought the wrong meat.
I hate fatty meat and never buy pork shoulder to roast and asked him to buy loin.
I’d cooked a lovely roast dinner and didn’t notice until carving it was a shoulder with fuck all edible meat on it. I was so hungry and really looking forward to it. I was so upset 😞

CraicMammy · 31/12/2018 19:36

Halifax mortgage advert, the one where the little boy whispers that his parents bought the house “so they could have me”.

FreeButtonBee · 31/12/2018 19:39

I knew I needed to do a pregnancy test when I cried at work at a bbc article about a man opening the first dry cleaners in Mogadishu!

Clementine19 · 31/12/2018 20:45

@MrsRRC I am properly chuckling at your tragic ham.
These are all so funny. Hormones are so strange.
My husband made me laugh today and I started to veer off into hysterics- literally belly-laughing and crying at the same time. He looked concerned😂

mommysharkdodo · 31/12/2018 20:51

I cried last week because I was trying to butter my bread but the butter was too cold to spread and it was putting holes in my bread 🙈

I have to stop myself from crying at all sort of silly things on a daily basis, my partner can make a joke and I will take it to heart when I'd usually just make one back!

MrsDeltaB · 31/12/2018 20:55

Bloody Frozen!!! I was 10 weeks and took my 2 girls to the cinema. When the parents got lost at sea!

Girls get it NOW but at the time just laughed at me! 😁

AlwaysWantedToBeATenenbaum · 31/12/2018 21:23

These are all making me giggle 😂

MrsRRC · 31/12/2018 21:25

@Clementine19 I know. It really was tragic. Haha. I also had a major melt down because my husband suggested offered me some Christmas Cheese but hadn’t actually produced the goods. Food is obviously no joke 😂

It feels so good to laugh like that, doesn’t it. Much better than sobbing over all manner of weird stuff!

GirlCroosh · 31/12/2018 21:29

DP cooked potatoes wrong. It was awful.
