Confused over my due date

I'm mega excited to be pregnant fir the second time. We found out and I've done the calculation and I'm about 5 weeks but looking at my notes my last period I had spotting on the afternoon (which I got so excited about) but then had a period day after (very very light and only one day) I usually bleed 3 days .... At the time I thought spotting was something but when period came thought no more ... Now I'm thinking maybe I'm 9 weeks and that was implantation ... I'm considering an early scan but most are 7 weeks so I'd hate to go now and give myself worry if they can't find a heartbeat yet as too early .... Has anyone had similar experience?

Maybe try a CB digital test, the one that tells you the no. of weeks since conception. If you get 2-3 weeks on the CB you’ll know you’re about 5 weeks, but if you get 3+ on the CB you could be further along. It might help you decide when to have an early scan? Which I do recommend having as I found it hugely reassuring. My dates were 2 weeks off (I thought I was 2 weeks further along) because of an irregular previous cycle. I was 7+3 at my scan and we could see baby and hear the heartbeat.

Thanks ... I considered that but I'm right on the edge ... I'm 5+2 so I'd already have tipped over into 3+ so think I'd second guess that too should have got that in first place 🙄

If you contact your MW for a booking in appointment and explain you don't know if your 5 or 9 weeks, they'll be able to book you for a 'dating scan' to work out how far a long you are, from that they'll work out when you are due and when to do the normal dating scan that happens around 12 weeks.

Ah Fab ... I think I'm 9 ... This is me today and I'm trying not to look pregnant here (don't want to tell work yet) ... No way this is 5 weeks
