Mucus Plug/Bloody Show

Hi all
Just went to the loo and had a tinge of blood in my discharge which I am guessing is the mucus plus. I am 39+4 today and wondering what happens next. Online it says my waters may break/contractions soon after but also says can be 1-2 weeks later which is no help.
I know it's all different but would love to hear some stories from other mums.

In my case nothing happened for 3 weeks

I had my bloody show at 39+1 and it was accompanied by period pains.

I had blood tinged mucus throughout the day and my contractions started that afternoon.

DS was born the following lunchtime.

Hopefully this is the start of labour for you :)

Hope it's soon for me! I have got period cramps right now and my legs are aching. Haven't missed this feeling over the last 39 weeks!!
