hi, I had sex a handful of times during the course of dec. 7-9, which was during the first week following my period last month, and I accidentally missed taking my birth control by a day on the 11th. the start of my period usually aligns exactly with the start of my placebo weeks -- if anything, it comes a day or so early, not late. however, this month, I did not experience any bleeding until day 4. I had mild cramping (I always cramp during PMS) and light brown spotting to start, then awoke day 5 with a very heavy bright red flow with lots of clotting. this continued all day, but it eased up yesterday and today I'm back to brown spotting. I usually have at least 3 solid days of a bright red flow I would say. I have been rather moody lately, but other than that, I haven't experienced any other symptoms (no nausea, no sore breasts, etc). I'm probably going to take a pregnancy test tomorrow, but how likely do you think it is that I'm pregnant?

You can get implantation bleeding but that's not heavy or clot like so I don't think it's very likely

I would leave it till next month and see how it goes tbh

I doubt you're pregnant if the missed pill was days after intercourse and you've had a period.

It's likely the missed pill is what's caused the odd period.

Also, you mention the placebo pill. I think, meaning, you have a packet of 21 days of pills and 7 dummy pills? If so, my doctor always told me I could miss up to two pills and still be covered in one cycle but anything more and I would need extra protection. Therefore, I really doubt you're pregnant.
