Am I the only person who expects to see nothing at my 12 wk scan?

I know, I'm a bit crazy. I'm 12wks tomorrow and have my NT scan first thing.

I've had rotten sickness, sore (.)(.), knackeredness etc, no bleeding or cramps at all.

So, am I off my trolley by thinking that they won't find anything at all tomorrow? I'm convinced that there will be nothing there and they'll think I'm a nutter. Does everyone go through this. I'm sort of joking but not really. I truly will be stunned if there is anyone there...

I remember saying to a couple of friends, just before the scan, how embarrassed I would be "if there's nothing there and it was just wind or something". Also, when I managed to tell myself, rationally, that I was pregnant, all I expected to see was a little flickering light of a heartbeat - it was one of the shocks of my life to see this fully-formed dancing little person on the screen (the biggest shock probably being the pregnancy itself).
I blubbed. Everyone does. But it's a great moment.

same as me too! I said "its a baby"...hahah best feeling in the world, and definately walking on a high after! Enjoy and let us know how you get on xxx

OK, OK I was wrong. One baby, heart beating like the clappers and an NT result of 1:1203 which I gather is not bad.

Little monkey refused to lie on its back and I've never been so prodded in all my life but fine apart from that. Oh, and I had the fullest bladder she'd ever seen!

So it's official, I'm as mad as the rest of you. Thanks a million for all your reassurances yesterday. I really was worried. Am I convinced now? Hmm, remains to be seen... xx

Congratulations! I was also convinced there was nothing there with my two. Cried my eyes out when I saw them
