I have a history of M/C the most recent one being in June this year which was a MMC at 10+3, baby had stopped growing a week earlier.

Fast forward a bit and I’m now 17+4 with 3 good scans behind me. I think I’m just starting to feel a couple of sporadic wriggles here and there but thanks to an anterior placenta I keep doubting myself.

I’ve woken up with a lovely, stuffy head cold coupled with mild period cramps (which are normal for me but worrying all the same) and a very achy lower back along with an annoying sharpish pain that I’m getting very intermittently around 1/4 of the way up my back on the right side off centre.

I know it’s probably normal and nothing to worry about but I can’t help but worry about every little ache. I feel as though I can’t get reassurance easily without travelling nearly an hour to the hospital where I’m due to give birth. We have 2 DD’s at home on school holidays. I can’t just ring my community midwife and ask her to listen on the Doppler which is such a shame Sad my next appointment is my 20 week scan which is over 2 weeks away.
