Hi all,
im a newbie here but wanted some advice on what people thought as im unsure whether to take a PT yet. im 29 yrs old and me and the mr (36) have been trying for a baby for 2 years to no joy. Sad AF finished on the 9th December. the following week we had sex may be once or twice and then between 17th and 23rd we did the deed everyday multiple times. now i know it may be way to early but iv had twinges and mild cramping which i usually get anyway but also a pulling sensation on my right side. abit like somethings sat in my side and moves now and again towards my navel then back again. its not there all the time just comes and goes but this is a new sensation for me. also, i suffer a little with bloating but i have been what feels constantly all day bloated. slight light headedness but nothing that would take me off my feet and what has felt like trapped wind in my chest for a few days. no nausea or swollen breasts, no frequent toilet trips, just a heightened sex drive and lots of tiredness with some emotional crying on the one day. i just want to sleep!!! i dont know whether its just new symptoms of pms or whether it will be what im hoping it will be but i dont want to test just yet as it may be too early to tell. but has anyone else had anything like this then found out you were pregnant? any advice pleeaasseeee

Hey,

It could be symptoms it could just be period
Tbh I would over analyse every single symptom I felt before I fell pregnant
I think let it flow and see how you carry on feeling!
I also think that when we was trying I stopped actually trying and thinking about it because that didn't help and I used to stress my partner out because sex was just to get pregnant and I made that clear and I went to see my doctor over this who told me I need to relax and bam it worked

thanks emma0619 we have forgotten about it to be honest i dont even follow my calendar anymore or take any ovulation tests or do my temp. AF is regular although she tricked me last month as was 3 weeks late. was not impressed!! Angry we have tests booked just to make sure that all is a-ok but iv just been feeling different last few days, wether it is AF symptoms, pregnancy or im just unwell im not sure. im still going to wait until im late to take a test although if anything like last month is to go by i wont hold my breath Hmm

Yeah, tbh the month I felt different was the month I decided to ignore it and then I found out I was pregnant! Sending the best of luck to you!!! X

When is af due again?

EnglishIrishRose · 29/12/2018 15:47

Bloating was my first sure sign about 7-10 days after ovulation, only because I'd never had it before. I would say I just 'felt different' too. A pregnancy test (FRER) came up positive for me on day 11 so depending on when you ovulated, it could show up now. Good luck!

Between 8th and 11th jan. I have a period tracker app that I use but because I was late last month it’s threw the dates out. Still saying I have 16 days left but my normal cycle is around 33 days so I’d say about the 8th xx

I suffer with bloating anyway (ibs) but never this bad just constant all the time. Feeling abit sicky this morning but maybe due to not eating anything yet. Pulling sensation went away last night but has appeared again this morning with mild cramps. No implantation bleeding which I read was a common sign but I went to out of hours last night. Doc didn’t pregnancy test but did say blood in urine so bit unsure. I’m hoping I’m not just unwell and my first little babba is growing away. Going to pick up a test today so fingers crossed

If you're 8/9 days away from af, these aren't pregnancy symptoms. Implantation happens 6-12 dpo, with the average being 9dpo, which you probably haven't reached yet.

Pregnant enough for symptoms is pregnant enough for a positive test. Not to say you won't turn out to be pregnant, but what you're going through is less likely to be related.

Implantation bleeding isn't common. But it's not rare either. Less than 20% of pregnancies come with implantation bleeding. And spotting is also easily caused by a range of things that aren't pregnancy. While I'm thinking about it, make sure your smear test is up to date.

@physickate my smear test is up to date ( beginning of nov ) i took a test this morn. but showed as invalid (was a cheap asda test) i have bought another clear blue so will try again in morning

I def felt implantation with my current pregnancy. I felt a sore sharp pinching type sensation, it went on for a few seconds at a time, on and off for a day or two. 3 days after that I got faint positive line on a frer.

So could be implantation. Do u know when u ovulated? Because ovulation can sometimes cause pains and twinges too
