Breech experiences

Hi all!

I am 34 + 1 weeks and had my midwife appointment this afternoon. I have been measuring just under 2 weeks over since my 28 week appointment and today the midwife said there is a possibility the baby is Breech. She is sending me for a scan on Monday morning for a position check but also to check weight of baby etc...

Just wondering if anyone has been told at this stage the baby is Breech and it has turned later on by itself? Or has anyone ever had a successful EV?

Thanks

My baby was breech until my 38 week appointment...born naturally at 39 weeks

My baby was discovered footling breech at 34 growth scan after midwife telling me week before she was engaged, so guessing midwife got it wrong.

My DD had slowed growth since previous growth scan so I had a planned c section at 35+5 after steroid injections because of her being footling they couldn't attempt to move her in case she broke her waters.

Fx for you, sorry no advice for trying to move baby xx

It's fairly normal for a baby to breech to around 36 weeks.

I'm 35 weeks and mines breech. I fully expect her to turn this week. I'm having a section anyway but no way would I consent to an ecv.

My Dd was breech(she is 21 in feb so things may have changed)
Successful Ev at 38 weeks( it was fine)
However induced at 39 weeks as they were worried she was a big baby and I'm only 5 ft 2
Had an emergency c section due to failure to progress
She was only 7 lb 2 so not massive
Found out afterwards with an mri scan that I have an narrowing to the inlet and outlet of the pelvis so with my son I had an elective section
Hope all goes well

Mine was breech until 36 weeks. It’s fairly normal I think.

Not really what you asked so probably not that helpful but m first was an undetected footling breech so had a vaginal delivery. No turning or section for me. Or pain relief! Happy days!

My baby was transverse for most of third trimester. Midwife told me she had turned and engaged at 38 weeks. Was in delivery suite due to broken waters 2 days later when they realised that she was actually footling breech. Labour had not progressed at all in 20 hours so went off for C section which went well.

See if you can get a scan or at least a couple of midwives to check position to be sure!

I had my breech baby turned. It was a weird experience. Not nice really but I was told it had worked and later went into natural labour. Unfortunately she was still in the wrong position and I needed an emergency cesarean. Whether she wasn't quite turned right or moved again I will never know but it was quite a traumatic birth in the end so I wish I'd just gone for an elective when she was breech. I had given birth twice before vaginally and the pain for this one was definitely different.
