Anyone go through this?

I did post in another topic but posting again hoping others have advice.
I am 8w2d and went for my first scan yesterday. No heartbeat. And the baby measuring very small.
Doctor said most likely not viable. He did a blood test yesterday and today to check my hcg levels. But he prepared me to have a d&c today.

The doctors office called to tell me they will hold off with everything as my levels increased 34000 to 41000. I'm not sure if this is high enough or just marginal. They want me to come in a week to test and scan again.

Any advice. I'm just confused and unsure what this means. I'm certain of my dates as well.

Could it be that you actually are fewer weeks than you think?

I had a miscarriage in October so can understand your fears.
Is it possible your dates are out and you're not as far along as 8 weeks? This would explain the small sac and lack of heartbeat. May just be too early. I hope so.

If it's not then the next couple of months will be tough.

Be kind to yourself (people said that to me and I honestly didn't know what it meant but it eventually made sense)

I'm so sorry, this is so stressful and emotional.

I went through this exactly only earlier this year - my HG levels were rising but no heartbeat. It turns out your body can still think it's pregnant for a few weeks so produces the hormones accordingly.

Could it be like others have said and tour dates could be out?

Aww. I am pregnant too and have my first scan on Monday. I'm really unsure of my dates though so maybe yours is the same.

I'm expecting to be earlier on than I think.
