Narrow side sleeping crib?

Having started the research I think we want a side sleeping crib for baby when they arrive. However, due the the tiny room/huge bed combo we have the gap by my side of the bed is fairly narrow. We could steal an extra few inches from husband’s side but it would be nice if there was a narrow side sleeping crib someone could recommend (for context something like a Chico next to me probably wouldn’t fit).

Back up plan is baby and I move into the spare room or we move the bed against the wall (not ideal as on one side that puts in against the radiator on the other blocks the en suite, wardrobe and door).

We have the Snuzpod, it’s narrower than the Next to Me, not by a huge amount but if a couple of inches would make a difference (it did for us) then it might be worth looking at!

We had a narrow gap and the snuzpod fitted

The Bednest would fit too.

The challenge is that many of the narrow ones also aren’t very long so your baby will outgrow them quickly. The babybay is quite narrow (it comes in two sizes)

Definitely not the tutti Bambini, it's huge!

We put the crib at the bottom of our bed rather than at the side as there was no room

Thanks all! I’ll get the tape measure out for a proper check later but I think a couple of these might work!

Chocolate - thanks for the warning. If baby is long I’ll be wondering where those genes came from as we aren’t a tall family by any stretch of the imagination.

The Waldin one on amazon is 55cm wide. A few cm can overlap your bed.

I have 2 long babies and a short family, so be aware :)

I sent a bednest back as it's so narrow so that would work. They have a no quibble return policy so no risk in trying it, except for the inconvenience if you return it

We had a snuzpod and opted for this over the chicco next to me for this very reason. My little girl was 9lb 7oz at birth and has always been quite long and she was in it until 6 months old.
