Recommend me a tandem please

Baby due in May and ds will be 2 in June. I’ll need a tandem as have a very narrow alleyway to get to my front door so a side by side won’t fit.
Need one for a toddler and newborn but don’t want to spend a fortune as ds won’t be in it for long.

Or is there such a thing that changes from a double to a single?

Phil and Teds... easily picked up from ebay for very reasonable amounts

I know someone who bought an I candy (although I know they aren’t cheap) and that changed from a single to a double.

We have an ICandy Peach (19 month age gap between our DDs). Can't recommend it highly enough. So easy to use as a single as well. There seem to be quite a few second hand ones on Facebook. Good luck!

It's not a tandem, but perhaps have a look at the Mountain Buggy Duet? It's a side-by-side but very narrow (fits through doors inside my house) and can be used as a single or double. It pushes like a dream, loads of storage, parent-facing seat option for younger child! There are tonnes of them around secondhand too.

I’m going for a Phil & Teds Dot or Sport.

I’m in the same boat where I didn’t want a side by side, but I’m 5’2 and can’t see over the top of the travel system Style tandems like the icandys. From what I’ve tried, the P&Ts are very nippy and easier to fold with both seats units in place.

Think I’m going with a Phil and teds too. There’s quite a few on eBay within 25 miles so looking likely I’ll manage to get one. I’m only 19 weeks so going to wait for a bit so I don’t jinx it.
