Movement Changes?

Hi just hoping someone can reassure me this is normal.
I know babies don't settle into a routine until around 24 weeks but ftm and not sure what's okay or not.
I'm 22 weeks and for the past 4 weeks there's been a pattern of when baby kicks, they're strong kicks and wiggles. Yesterday however it got to 3 in the afternoon with no movement and my stomach seemed hard, we tried everything suggested to get a little flutter and nothing so we called up the number and went in to get baby listened to, the heartbeat was fine (though wasn't as loud, do different dopplers have different volumes?) and could hear them wiggling but feel nothing. That evening I could feel them but not as strong or often. This morning again all I've felt is a couple of soft wiggles and had some tight feeling(?) pain but very soft belly.
Can someone tell me this is fine and it's possible baby is hiding behind extra cushioning or maybe having a lazy couple of days? I feel silly as the midwife has already told me they're fine but I cant shake the off feeling. Thank you.

If you’re worried, it really is best that you get checked out again.

It could be nothing, but it’s better to be on the safe side x

@justfivemoreminuets chances are that baby has turned to a position where you can't feel them. Mine did this at about 25 weeks and it really threw me but then felt her turn and went back to previous pattern. Having said that, always worth talking to your midwife whenever you're worried.

I started feeling my little boy at around 19 weeks, just before my 20 week scan and he then moved constantly. I'm currently 24+2 and he's slowed down loads in terms of movements. I feel him when I first wake up and then throughout the day he's quite chilled out, however at night he becomes really active! I hope he doesn't think that's what it's going to be like when he's here 😂

Do you know where your placenta is? Anterior or posterior?

Mine is anterior and movements have changed throughout my entire pregnancy.
Baby still has a lot of space at 22 weeks to move around. They are doing somersaults at this stage.
The trouble is they won’t start putting the monitors on you until your (I think) 28 weeks. They will only check the heartbeat up until then so I don’t think there is a lot else they will do for you.
If you start getting any strange abdominal pain or bleeding then obviously call them or go straight in but I do think your still very early for baby to be in a real pattern x
