morning sickness- is this it?

Not sure if what I'm experiencing is morning sickness or not. I've never been one to feel sick, I never throw up, quite a strong stomach really.

The last week, but not every day, about an hour after waking up, I begin to feel quite unwell, light-headed/dizzy... How you might feel before you pass out. I can feel hot and cold to the extreme, like yesterday in a normal-temperature restaurant I had to go stand out in the cold air. These feelings increase but disappear completely the moment I eat something.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Very familiar! I was like this for the whole first trimester and a little bit into my second. I had to eat constantly so my stomach was always full, id still feel a bit sick but wouldn't actually throw up. But if my stomach was even half empty that would be it! Was not a fun time but one day it just stopped!

I am feeling the same at 5 weeks... It's mainly in the middle of the day for me. I would say I feel lightheaded and a bit like mild motion sickness - not nauseous to the point of throwing up, but it's massively putting me off alcohol/rich food.

Very much wondering if it's going to stay like this or suddenly get a lot worse...!

Interestingly, it's very similar to how I felt when I first went on the pill many years ago. Same kind of hormones, I suppose!

I was never actually sick with my 2, but I had the feeling like you describe, I used to call it rollercoaster sickness as I felt like I'd been on a rollercoaster pretty much all the time. Eating constantly helped with no.1. It didn't help with no.2 (but I continued to eat regardless!)
