Hello, I'm just looking for some advice. Im currently 12 weeks pregnant with my first baby. My stepdaughter stays with us 3 nights a week and her younger brother from her mums side has chickenpox. I know that direct contact with chickenpox can be dangerous but will an indirect contact like this cause a problem?
Any advice would be helpful, I will call and ask the midwife in the tomorrow.
Thank you !

It depends if you've had chicken pox tbh. Has your step daughter had it?

Yes we have both had chickenpox.

If you have had it then nothing is required to be done 👍

There shouldn't be any danger then as you both should be immune. She can't pass it to you unless she has it and is in the contagious stage. As she's had it before she shouldn't get it again
