Leak from neighbours flat above

I need to rant on here because im literally livid and cant handle my emotions right now.

19th december our upstairs neighbours let their bathroom sink overflow which resulted in several leaks coming from our ceiling. I notified my landlord (and upstairs neighbours who couldnt care less) my landlord offered to send someome out, an offer i shouldve taken however was quite stressed as had physio and health visitor that day and a regular 9hr shift at work.
By the time id left for work the leaks had dried so i thought no harm done.

Anyhoo, flashforward to christmas eve and it friggen starts again, anyway it was goodbye mrs nice neighbour, i sceamed towards the ceiling 'turn your effin sink off' resulted in running across their floor towards bathroom, the leaking stopped.

Ive kept a towel and bucket on the floor just incase. And now its friggen dripping AGAIN.
Its driving me insane. It had stopped for a week and now in the space of 2 days is dripping. Am i being wrong in presuming theyre being idiots and leaving the sink running (they have 2 small children but REALLY bad english) or is it a problem off the original leak?

I thought with it being dry for more than a week (presuming theyve bathed etc during that time...) the problem had solved itself.
My OH isnt about confrontation therefore im left to sit and stew with my anger and consistant dripping waiting for the day after boxing day when I can get my landlord out.
Ive ruined soooooo many towels cleaning the water up and I cant risk it being this problematic when baby comes(im due 5th feb)

Help???
