Anyone else in early labour this Christmas?!

I’m 39+5 - went into hospital on Saturday morning with regular contractions, but was told I was only at 2cm....back again yesterday after fierce period pains for 24 hours and regular contractions - ‘between 2 and 3 cm dilated’ 🤣

Have literally no idea what this day will hold; am just glad it looks like I’ll get the morning with 4yo DD to see her open her presents at least. Anyone else on baby watch today?!

Meee... loads of period type pains on and off and bad braxtin hicks ( one just woke me from my nap). I’d like it not to happen today though! 39+2 today :)

I’m 39+4 today and desperate to avoid a Xmas day baby. Have told everyone I’m putting my feet up and not doing a thing.
I was convinced I was gonna go into labour last night/early hours.
I’ve been having pains and all sorts for the last 2 weeks.
And I also woke at about 2am this morning with really bad period pains for a couple of hours. I thought ‘this is it’ but so far nothing else is happening. Legs firmly crossed.

Me. I had contractions last night but they stopped. Mucus plug is going and having a lot of twinges. Either way I'm being induced this week so will have baby before nye

Maybe me? First time mother so not sure, but was due last week. Was 1.5cm-2cm dilated when I got a sweep last Friday. Had a bloody show on Saturday. Have had lots of Braxton-Hicks since then. Today I woke up to some sore cramping/contraction. Have had loose stools twice since then. And some more painful contractions, as well as lots of non-painful tightenings. And my back is aching! So maybe? But I also thought the baby might be on its way when I had my show on Saturday!

Me too! Waters broke (with a proper splash!) at 6.30am this morning and been having niggly cramps since. Just started having my bloody show a couple of hours ago. I'm 37 weeks.

Baby number four here, we are all pretty excited!

Stegosaurus I’m very jealous - am desperate for some sort of concrete sign like that!! I’ve just had a day of bad period like pain with a few intermittent painful contractions

pocket I'll swap you for some of your contractions!?! Can't wait to get properly underway...I have a sneaky suspicion that I'll go to bed and get woken up by labour an hour later!

No baby here... everything stopped yesterday and I’ve had nothing today at all 😦

No baby here either! I'm now in hospital waiting for induction, pretty relaxed and happy though!

In hospital got pessary, contractions getting so strong I can't do this I'm falling to bits I didn't even sleep last night, couldn't 🙁

He is here! Arrived late last night, is super cute and the induction, while brutal, was manageable and I mow feel great!
