Hi I'm 6 weeks 3 days, 40 and this is my first pregnancy. I've started spotting a little and reading it could be normal or something unthinkable. Has anyone had any similar experiences? There's no point in taking another test yet I understand and it's Christmas Eve so no chance of an early scan for at least 3/4 days. Any advice would be greatly appreciated xx

Spotting is quite normal. I had spotting around 7 weeks and on an early scan they saw a little pocket of blood completely separate to the babies. The doctor I saw said it was very normal and to try not to worry unless there was a lot of blood.
