Bruised legs!!! Anyone else??

I'm 38 weeks on Wednesday Abd I've just got out the bath and noticed about 10 little bruises (all the same size) around my knee area and down my left calf.

Not noticed them before, has anyone else had these? Do I need to be worried?????

Sure they’re bruises? Could they be varicose veins? I got those really badly in my last pregnancy particularly at the end...

I suppose they could be veins but they do look just like bruises at the moment. I'm seeing the midwife on Thursday so I'll ask her to look at them.

I'm absolutely huge tho and getting very fed up - I'd like to get this week out the way with then baby is welcome to appear!!!

If you are/have been taking baby aspirin, that's sometimes a side effect.

My varicose veins just look like bruises all over my legs.

It could be a sign your platelet levels are low. Mine were during pregnancy and unexplained bruising was a sign I was told to look out for.
