Hi, I should really know this but I know things change. Just wondering if there are anymore routine blood tests after your booking bloods at 12 weeks? I can't remember if they do any at 20 week appointment or later on? Thanks in advance and merry Christmas eve x

And you may be offered a GTT test as well. I think there may be one more to check iron as well.

I've had bloods taken at every appointment so far this pregnancy (I'm 35 weeks) but it's second baby so you see midwife less frequently. I also had extra taken due to being rhesus negative (to check baby's blood type to see if anti-D is required).

The appointment schedule in your notes should highlight when to expect routine bloods.

Only just 13 weeks so next appointment at 16 with midwife. Im rhesus negative too all my kids have been positive but will be very glad to let them check if I can avoid anti D. I'll have a look in notes, thank you. They are computerised here now so not much in the notes as such anymore. X

There’s a blood test at the 12 week scan for the Downs testing. It’s optional though x
