Hi all, new to mumsnet! I had a private ultrasound for my second baby at 9+1 due to some bleeding. The lady who did it said there was a strong heartbeat and there was definitely only one baby but can anyone else see this and has anyone else had anything similar? Or any thoughts please? Am I seeing something that isn't there? Or could it just be a reflection? I have played with the filters so it's as clear as it can be. I already know from DS I have a retroverted uterus. Merry Christmas! x

Could it be your bladder op? I had to have a full bladder for a scan very early in pregnancy and remember it looking a bit like that.

Maybe, hadn't thought of that! Thanks x

First scan is just twin 1 as twin 2 was behind. Second scan photo is both twins and you can clearly see two different size sacs. Unfortunately twin 2 is measuring much smaller than twin 1 and has probably stopped developing.

Even though there was a huge difference in size, it was an early and twin 2 was hiding the sonograper quickly spotted it with an abdominal scan. Scan pics are from internal scan.

I only see one, you can see part of the placenta also, is that what your are confusing with a twin?
