When did you feel the first flutters/movements?

17 weeks now, was sure I felt a few around 15 weeks, not so much now. This is my third pregnancy.

I can feel my uterus changing position throughout the day though which is a very odd feeling!

Hi. I was similar to you, felt odd twinges at around 15 weeks and hoped it would get more frequent but it tailed off and I didn’t really feel anything until I was about 20/21 weeks. Turned out I have an anterior placenta so it was cushioning some of the movement. X

Sarge17 · 24/12/2018 10:51

18+5 first movements.

Now 22+3 and lying in bed (lazy Christmas Eve 😁) feeling his strong little kicks ♥️

Was probably 19/20 weeks when I knew for sure it was baby not gas! 😂

TinyMarie · 24/12/2018 11:52

I told the midwife at 16 weeks that I was either feeling flutters or had wind.
By 20 weeks I had definite movement and I have an anterior placenta.

I’m 17 weeks just feeling occasional flutters can go a couple of days without, hopeing to get some strong movement soon ! X

I started feeling movements around 19w. I always felt them more as muscle twitches rather than flutters. I did also have an anterior placenta.

whiteonesugar · 24/12/2018 12:21

I am 13w 4d with baby number 2 and i am sure i've felt the odd random little flutter. but cant be sure its not a fart gone astray....

Scottay · 24/12/2018 19:21

I'm 20 weeks and think I'm feeling them, they're almost uncomfortable though. Like my stomach is flipping over Confused

Iswallowtoothpaste · 25/12/2018 20:48

I’m 17 weeks right now with my second and have an anterior placenta this time. I’m definitely feeling little movements now. Feels a little bit like muscle twitches sometimes and others feels a little bit like it’s ‘rolling’ - that’s the best way I can describe it.

TheSubtleKnifeAndFork · 26/12/2018 12:56

First pregnancy was 18-19 weeks.
Second pregnancy 16-17 weeks.

mellongoose · 27/12/2018 10:44

I'm 19 weeks with no.2. Have been feeling flutters since 16 weeks but nothing concrete. If I really concentrate I can feel him/her. Looking forward to feeling more obvious movements so I can stop worrying about that at least!!!

momoa80 · 27/12/2018 10:59

I'm in the same boat! 19weeks and feeling odd little movements but that light I wonder if it is baby or just wind haha...roll on feeling more definite wiggles!

gimmeadoughnut123 · 27/12/2018 13:15

I'm 15 weeks and can feel little flutters every now and again, must be when baby is going mad. I felt it before my scan and sure enough they were rolling around and kicking during the scan. But it's not constant.
Hoping I can feel them more regularly in the next month :)

Noodella18 · 27/12/2018 23:33

Started feeling things around 16 weeks but wasn’t sure if it was just wind, very definite kicks from between 17 and 18 weeks, and also rolls which are weird but I really like them!

Scottay · 28/12/2018 19:18

I'm definitely feeling the baby moving about but struggling to tell the difference between a kick and just a movement Confused
