Implantation bleeding

For those who have experienced this before...
so this cycle was weird, about 6 days po and 9 days before my period was due, I had really light bright red spotting which only lasted that day. In fact it was noticed by my partner after we had sex. I thought it was my period making an early appearance, but it stopped literally a few hours later. It was so light it was only when I wiped and didn’t leak into my underwear.
My period is due tomorrow, has anyone else experienced implantation bleeding before and what was your experience like?

I had implantation bleeding the day after I had my positive pregnancy test, a week before my period was due, along with cramping, so fearing the worst, I thought I was having a miscarriage. It was light-ish and varied from bright red to quite dark brown which didn't help my miscarriage fears. I had several emergency scans as a result, but, at 10 weeks, they finally found a heartbeat and my DD is now 16 months old

For what it's worth, I also had bleeding around the days of what would have been my period for the first trimester which were horrible and scary, but not uncommon. If you have any concerns, speak with your GP or MW and they'll get you seen ASAP xx
