Present ideas for expecting mums?

Apologies if this is not in the appropriate thread! My SIL is expecting a baby boy and I’d like to do a hamper with essentials for her and baby. The rest of the family are also doing hampers, filled with the obvious things, such as baby grows, blankets, bibs, baby wipes, nappies. Does anybody have any ideas on what else I could buy? Anything in particular for my SIL to make her life easier when she has the baby? I don’t want to buy the same stuff as everybody else. Thanks!

What about some nice pampering bits for her like bath set etc?

For her, A really good travel mug. Coupons for netflix and Amazon prime. A water bottle which keeps water nice and cold. A good quality hand and nail cream. Snacks. Her favourite chocolate or other treat.

For baby I would keep it small and simple, some really cute pram shoes and a little cuddly toy

I did my friend a hamper for her baby shower. In it I put pjs, bubble bath, booze, some fluffy socks, nice coffee and her fave sweets. She also had stuff for baby in there but that’s what I got just for her x

Massage voucher

I received a lifetime's supply of bubble bath when DD was born. She's 7 months now and I don't think I've had a single bath. (It's not recommended for the first few weeks after birth and when do I have time for all this bathing?!)

Chocolate. Cook vouchers. Other snacks. A cute babygrow in 3-6m.

A friend gave us a medicune box with Calpol, Calprofen, a calpol plug in, and a snot sucker. It was actually really handy to not have to go out and get them when DD got a cold. (Get a nose Freida accept no alternatives the snaffle babe one is rubbish in comparison)

A friend got me a little Tommee Tippee grooming bag for baby which included nail clippers, a thermometer, hairbrush, snot sucker and a toothbrush. Was great because I never thought of buying those bits myself so was a lifesaver when I thought my son had a temp and I actually had a thermometer! She also put in some milk powder storage pots, a portable dummy steriliser and some bibs.

Oh and a little bottle of vodka for me to have once baby was born 😂😂
