Girls with low heart rate?!

Hiya,
Anyone given birth to a baby girl who had a low heart rate (around 140) throughout pregnancy. Just been reading the old wives tale about girls being above 140 and boys being below... it seems boys can have low or high but girls always seem to be consistently high?! Just wondering if anyone with girls had proved this theory wrong? Smile

My girl's average heart rate on her ctg was about 137. Last midwife's appointment it was 135. In 29 weeks.

Sounds like bollocks to me!

I'm 29 weeks and my girls heart rate has never gotten above 135.

The heart rate thing is just an old wives tale. If it's ever correct it's by chance! Nothing scientific to it.

I think I read somewhere that the heart rate was only significant towards the very end of the pregnancy.

Yep, DD was below 140. It sounded like a horse galloping though. DS sounded like a train. Midwife predicted right for each one based off the sounds...! 🤷🏼‍♀️
