Hi, I'm currently 8 weeks + 3 days, I started spotting 6 days ago and then a bit of red bleeding 4 days ago which prompted me to call the EPU for advice. I had a MMC in August (11.5 weeks, baby measured 6 weeks), which started with the same symptoms. I had a internal scan 2 days ago which showed the baby measuring 8 weeks with heartbeat, I was so relieved, whilst still being a little apprehensive.
The bleeding subsided on Tuesday evening, however has returned today, this time heavier. It's not quite as heavy as a heavy period, but there is red blood in my pad and when I wipe.
I didn't have many pregnancy signs to start with, apart from slightly sore breasts which come and go, so it's hard to monitor how I should be feeling.
The nurse advised that I would not be able to have any further scans until my 12 week scan. I know there isn't much that can be done, except from staying positive etc, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience? I also have a retroverted uterus (not sure if that makes any difference at all) and bleeding has started around the time my period would have been due.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
