What do you think of the size? Everyone keeps telling me how small it looks Confused at my last visit at 26+5 the fundal height was 23,5 but I'm not sure how accurate is that method huh Grin
Anyone gone through similar situation?? Blush

Honestly I was still this small at 38 weeks! You wouldn't of even known I was pregnant 😂 up until 38 weeks I just suddenly ballooned!

I've seen pictures of my mum when she was pregnant with me and she just looked a bit bloated 😂

I would recommend speaking to your midwife if you're worried!

This is me at 28 weeks - but with second baby. Every person is different and I'm measuring bang on the 50th centile on my growth chart. I'd try not to worry about it too much - I've had loads of comments about how "big" I am HmmHmm

Yes. Tiny bump, was literally just baby - which if you think about it is pretty small.

Small is ok (within limits obv!) what's more of a gauge is that you grow.

Even then it's all prob fine. I had a couple of growth scans to check, and all was fine, just smallish baby and smallish me.

Your MW should reassure you if you're worried.

It looks about right to me!

I find these threads quite strange? You are 28 weeks pregnant, the baby is small so of course your bump is going to be small. You can only grow when the baby grows. Don't worry about any comments just focus on making sure you're resting, eating healthy and the scans and check ups are going well.

Dogsmellssobadbob · 21/12/2018 20:44

By 20 weeks the top of the bump is only belly button level. So this is a fair bit bigger as expected.
What are you worried about?
Or is it a stealth tell me I’m such a teeny person post?

I’d say that is well average for a bump
It’s not tiny at all.

So yeah. I officially couldn't keep with the doubts why my belly was so small and I went to get a private ultrasound(because my own midwife swears that baby is right on track by measuring my belly with a tape huh) . Baby is small for his gestational age. His abdominal area is almost 3 weeks behind his weight is 2 weeks behind and 4 percentile. So again moms regardless what people say or call you names, trust your instincts! I now finally got the public hospital to actually do something about it which would have been impossible without the private scan. Hopefully baby is just growing at a slower rate, will find out in 2 weeks :)

I'm massive at 24 weeks people just carry differently if midwife isn't concerned you shouldn't be xx
