Hi the doctor gave me phenergan for my constant sickness and nausea. Has anyone tried them? Do they work?

It’s an antihistamine, so yes should do. Will probably make you very drowsy though. If you’re not already exhausted from being pregnant!

Im on 25mg for 30 days, I think it took a few days at the beginning to work properly but it does work. they make me drowsy in the morning after taking them at night but I'd rather that than nausea- also I'm 15w now (started taking at 12w) so not sure how much of feeling better is tablets and how much is just being into second tri. give them a go and if they dont work ask to try something else.

I have taken them for 2 nights now and no difference... but maybe the might take a while to work 🤷‍♀️

They did it help me
Cyclizine helped a bit
Stemitil worked best orally in first pg
Cyclizine in a drip was brilliant, but obvs I was a hospital in patient
Avomine made me worse
Ondansetron worked best orally in 2nd pg

You should know quite soon if it’s going to help or not. If there’s no change after 2 days I’d say ask for something else as there are a number of othe drugs on the same safety level they can offer you. I’ve had all th drugs bike mentioned above and th u work differently fo different people. It’s oikely they may give you cyclizine, which really helps a lot of people but can make you sleepy initially.
