My pharmacist wouldn't let me buy Brolene eye drops this morning...

for conjunctivitis... was he just being over cautious? He said it would clear up of it's own accord, and I know it will, but I was hoping to use the brolene to speed things up a bit. This is the same pharmacist who wouldn't let me take anything for my verruca either, perhaps he's super cautious!

Perhaps he hates you and is a sadist

have you got any medical conditions?
i'd go to another chemist!

Nbg · 26/06/2007 11:38

tell him to get knotted and that you want it!

I did think he was being a bit precious... I'm 28 weeks gone, so surely I can't damage the baby now... the verrucas are bad enough but the conjunctivitis is painful!

Mrsmar- go to the docs and get them to prescribe it. Not only would he have to give it to you, but with your exemption card you'd get it free too...

Go to the Dr. I had recurrent thrush in pregnancy (and I mean every month) and it was awful as I tried to avoid treating it and ended up in agony. None of the pharmacists I spoke to would let me buy a canesten pessary. I had to have prescriptions which the GP gave me no problem. It was just so much of a pfaff getting them very month that I started sending dh to buy them for me when I needed them so they wouldn't know it was for someone who was pregnant .
