How early can heartburn set in?

Possible / probable case of symptom spotting over here but about 6 dpo and have had the worst heartburn all day! I never had heartburn before in my life before I was pregnant with DD1 and haven't had it since, so I'm wondering could this be it?

I've had faint waves of nausea, slight stomach cramps and a bit of back ache and I'm assuming these can't be pregnancy related at this early stage..... can they?!

At 6dpo it’s unlikely as implantation likeky hasn’t occurred yet, unless you ovulated early than you suspect, good luck though

Heartburn was my first symptom and what made me pick up a test 3 days before anything was missed. I had literally had heartburn once, the day after my 21st and too much rosé so I knew something wasn't right. Good luck x

I had really early heartburn (around weeks 4-6) - came back again from 25 to the end!

are you eating richer food than normal in the run up to Christmas?

Just to update (and in case anyone has the same question in future and stumbles across this thread). I am pregnant! Got my BFP on New Year's Day, I'm absolutely adamant those were very early pregnancy symptoms as they were identical to my first pregnancy!

@happydays00 I had heartburn about a week after conception as well and I never get it! I smiled to myself at the time thinking I wonder what’s going on :) congratulations!!!
