Confused

So I'm pregnant and I've been tracking my pregnancy on the Flo app. But then the midwife also recommended the Bounty app.
What's confused me is Flo says I am 11 weeks 7 days and Bounty says 10 weeks?
Could anybody who has used either one or both explain this to me please?

The exact same thing happened to me!! Bounty was the one to go by x

Thank you! I figured Flo was going by periods and Bounty was from conception but the days confused me so I didn't want to just assume 😂
Does this mean I am 10 weeks exactly?

I’m not actually sure what the difference is between them both! But I just know that when I went to my booking appointment it matched the bump one so have always gone with that since! Sorry I can’t be more helpful! Have you had your booking appointment yet? May be a bit clearer then :)

Sorry i meant my date matched the bounty one (not bump!)

Surely you don't need an app to tell you how many weeks pregnant you are? You just count from your last period, until you've had a scan. If (the first day of) your period was 10 weeks ago you are 10 weeks pregnant

@CountessVonBoobs I use the apps for necessary information with regards to the pregnancy such as a full list of foods to eat, appropriate exercises, and just to see the rough growth of the baby all in one place and I noticed that when I switched from tracking periods to pregnancy mode on Flo it said a number, and then when the midwife at my booking appointment recommended the Bounty app I input the same due date Flo gave but it gave a different number of weeks gone. It confused me, and because the midwife didn't understand Flo and I couldn't switch back to the period mode quickly we just guessed a date for my notes. Don't really understand why you replied as you didn't answer my questions and you just pointed out something I already know, unfortunately the last time I was pregnant I didn't get as far as a booking in appointment so didn't use two apps.
@AM1994 my first scan isn't for a few more weeks so I'll know for definite then, I've just been trapped inside all day and something that's been bugging me for weeks really got me bothered today 😂 thank you so much for your replies x

Yes it is silly I don’t know why they are different! Not long to wait til your scan now :) I’ve had my dating scan and they kept my dates exactly the same as the bounty app so would deffo say that’s gotta be the most accurate! No worries, atleast the business of Christmas & new year means your scan will be here in no time x

I found this as well! If you look in the settings for Flo, I think you can change from “current weeks” to “completed weeks” (or something like that) and that seemed to sort it for me... maybe that will help! X

justunbelieveable · 20/12/2018 22:51

@AM1994 I know I thought it would drag so much but I've been so busy preparing for Xmas and nye I've forgotten how soon the scan is sometimes!
@RachelYC thank you! I will try that!

It changed from 11 to 10 so it did something!
