I don't think anyone on here could fully confirm. Contact EPAU.

MakeAWhish · 19/12/2018 18:23

I'm sorry this is happening to you. It could be, or it could not be. You need to contact your EPU. Fingers crossed and a hand hold for you. Xx

With my first I had this, it happened in an airport 3 weeks before our wedding with our whole family arriving from Australia! We had been trying But I hadn't done a test, I assumed this was a miscarriage, tried to put it to the back of my mind and enjoy time with my family. A week later pregnancy symptoms kicked in and a test said Yes! I went to EPU and was told I was 6 weeks and had a viable pregnancy, but had 3 haematomas surrounding it. I had to have 3 more scans before 12 weeks as so much bleeding. But I went on to have a happy and healthy pregnancy. From memory, I even think my "clot" was bigger than this. So keep faith but please get checked asap xx

@Babyno2mamabear you've made my day - thank you i thought it would just be negative stories from this. I took a positive pregnancy test last week and it was a strong positive but this morning I got a very weak positive test (very very weak!) so that playing on my mind as well.

I will contact EPU they keep turning me away as I'm not actively bleeding and don't have pain at present. I will keep trying - thank you

Very pleased to hear your story was positive

That's Ok! Maybe just tell them that over night you've had bleeding and cramps and now you're even more worried, I know we shouldn't have to lie, but sometimes it's so hard to be seen. Alternatively if you can afford it then private scans are brilliant too. Xx

MontyFALD · 19/12/2018 19:44

@Babyno2mamabear unfortunately too early in pregnancy for private! I think they are all 6 plus?

Ah yeah they probably are! Are you 100% sure of your dates?! I never ever was sure and used these early scans to actually date me as I had no clue due to such irregular periods xx

I had this and sadly it was a miscarriage for me, scan confirmed it a couple of days later and more clots and tissue came away. You just don’t know though, some woman can bleed really heavily and still be pregnant. It could be a clot from something else. But I must admit the weakening of the line on the test doesn’t sound great either, was it a different brand or the same? I hope all works out ok x

I'm sorry you're going through this :(

If there was just bleeding I'd say it's impossible to know, but if your tests are getting weaker unfortunately this may have been a chemical pregnancy or indicate you will miscarry (your HCG should double each day, so tests should get stronger). I'd ring doctors and see if they can scan you asap/give advice.

Hugs and best wishes
