Positive on Asda tests but negative on internet cheapies

My previous post is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/3455549-This-test-is-negative-right?watched=1

All the comments stated it was positive (see the link to see the photo) I used asdas own tests, 3 tests produced the same result. It says it's 25 MIU. I plan to take a digital but can't until tomorrow.

Ive just seen my sister (who's TTC) and I used 2 of her internet cheapies that are supposed to be 10 MIU, both stark white negatives.

Now I'm so confused, which one is likley wrong?

If you are having mixed results you will need to test tomorrow or in a few days ideally so get something a bit more conclusive

Looking at your other thread I know you are anxious to know but you will have to wait to get some firm results

Just looked at your other thread.

I wouldn’t expect a positive on a 25mlu test 4 days before your period, to be honest. If it is a true positive, it’s a very faint one.

I would get a FRER because that’s 6mlu and would be able to detect a pregnancy at this point.

I wouldn’t bother with a digital until your period due date.

I hope you get the result you want Flowers

I think false negatives are more common than false positives, I always thought you couldn't get a false positive. X

I did a bit of internet reading a couple of years ago and read a fair bit to suggest the cheapies could be unreliable.
